F-22 vote tests Obama's veto threat
Mon Jul 20, 2009
At least there is a return on the "welfare". I'm confused by the whole thing. This is where this administration is fiscally responsible? It's not just this. They've been hinting at other cuts to include making wounded vets pay for medical insurance. Adjusting retirement pay for active duty.
Rove: Palin resignation part of 'risky strategy'
Sun Jul 5, 2009
Ed. Why don't we wait for the inevitable inflation. Or better yet, where are the jobs? Maybe we should discuss the fact that there were to be tax cuts.....unless of course "Cap and Trade" passes then we will have the largest tax increase in the country's history.
White House won't try to directly limit exec pay
Tue Jun 9, 2009
I've called and e-mailed my representatives, but I continue to see very little reported. This is only going to get worse too. Gas prices are going up.
White House won't try to directly limit exec pay
Tue Jun 9, 2009
Ok. Can someone please explain to me how this would be legal. How does the government have the power to tell PRIVATE businesses what they can and can not pay people? Where exactly does the Constitution say that or even get close? Perhaps in the constitutions of other countries ...
Obama pitches pay-as-you-go plan for Congress

Obama pitches pay-as-you-go plan for Congress

Obama pitches pay-as-you-go plan for Congress
Tue Jun 9, 2009
Why start worrying about how we're going to pay for things now? Haven't we just been spending with no regard as to how we were going to afford it? If we can get this spending under control I'm all for it, but I've seen no indication that the deficit is a high priority with this administration thus …
House GOP offers $23 billion in spending cuts
Thu Jun 4, 2009
Well said indeed. You just used too many words. I'll sum it up for you. GOP bad, everyone else good. Dumb. To blame Rep for the state of our country is the same blindness that got a socialist elected. We did this to ourselves! We ran our country into the ground.
Can't refinance? Call your congressman

I don't put it all on the lenders. I put a lot on the government when it thought everyone should own a home whether they could afford it or not.
Obama walks tightrope with the automakers
Mon Jun 1, 2009
BTW http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/3227506.stm I do my own work. I don't want hand-outs.
